I do not even think about reserving them till about 8 weeks. That still gives you 4 more weeks to find good homes for them. Another good reason is - say you have a buyer and they want a smaller sized yorkie and you reserve the smallest yorkie for them. Then the others get soken for too. Then at 12 weeks of age the smallest turns out to be the biggest. Then they are upset once they get home and go to the vet. Best to waith to get a better idea of personalities and size and quality untill they are older to make a better match. People are happier then. I just let people know I have a litter, but they will have to wait on the pups.
