a friend who manages a travel lodge swears by peroxide/cold water, put a small amount of peroxide on the stain and let it work when the bubbling has slowed down take a rag soaked in cold water and blot till stain is gone.
These things happen- my friend has used this method for over 20 years-before that she learned it at the hospital where she worked.
