I live in Elkhart and I'm retired I'm looking for a yorkie and I thought maybe you would know where I might be able to get one at a decent price my husband and I don't go much and we would like to get a small dog.I'm 71 and he is 75 we both love animals and I think it would be a good thing for us to have. You sound like a person who likes animals so if you could help me out please write me back please.

Hi Missy, I haven't been on for awhile and just came in for a short time and read your posting here. I think this is so wonderful of you to post this for the
couple. I truely hope that they are able to get one.

I read others postings here and I can't help but comment.
To anyone that feels just because someone is 71 and 75. Age is only a number and no one shouldn't be denied the joy of having a puppy or dog to their choosing, it is not a true statement in saying that someone is not capable of having a pet just because they happen to fall in the 70'ish years.

I especially want to say THANK YOU MISSY, for your putting word out to help try to find them one.

We are so thankful for our girls; to those that know Jack and myself we got each of ours as a puppy after it was God's calling our Precious Cassie back unto him. We happen to be in our 70's. Jack has Progressive Parkinsons and our girls are helping him to smile everyday and we are home all the time like this couple mentioned in their email to Missy, ours gives more pleasure to the both of us. I truely hope that they will be able to find a yorkie and again Missy thank you for all that your doing to help them.

I might add that we made arrangements with our daughter prior to our getting our girls that should God call us back to HIM before their calling then she would take them and so they would be well loved and provided for if that happened. Doesn't matter what age a person is this should always be a consideration and priority in getting one, life doesn't hold promises from one day to the next no matter what one's age is. To the couple in Elkhart, Indiana our prayers that God will place in your arms a yorkie that HE would want you to have ENJOY.

Missy, please let Jack and myself know if a yorkie train is started and we can be of help.

Patti and Jack,
