I think a lot of people work an 8 hour day and have Yorkies, I was 17 when I got Duke. When I started going to school part time and working full time, he had my parents to keep him company. Now I go to school full time and don't work. They love attention so once your done for the day with work, you would have to be sure to pay plenty of attention to him/her.
