When I brought LexiLyn into our house we had quite an acclimation period. My 11 yr old Toy Fox Terrier didn't care for her much and would snap at her when she got close to him. The shrill shriek she let out each time completely captured my 2 Greys attention. Now I can't tell if the dog's hurt or the birds are playing. I don't let them interact because I don't trust the birds. They tend to nip at anything close to them. Then laugh and tell you "ouch". I know when the dogs are under the cages looking for food because the birds tattle, telling them "NO! GET OUT OF HERE!" I have 2 dogs in the house but it sounds like a kennel when all 4 animals get to barking. I can't even tell the difference as to whos who. One big happy family! |
