Sebastian came from a petstore. I didn't know about puppy mills until I joined YT after already buying Sebastian
. It deeply saddens me that that is where he came from, and although he has been healthy and a great puppy (I got really lucky) I will never be able to support pet stores again. I have 3 small children. A 4 year old, 2 year old, and 4 month old. They do really well with him...but I have to watch like a hawk still. They are clumsy, so I can't let them run around near him, or play with him unless they are sitting down. I really have to spend a lot of time supervising, and I knew this ahead of time, but it's always more work than you anticipate. I do love Sebastian with all my heart and love having him in our family. But, I do realize now why Yorkies aren't usually placed in homes with small children. Sebastian is safe, but it's just a whole lot of extra work and worry for me. I definitely think a Pom would be a better option. My MIL had one and he was great around the kids and definitely more robust than Sebastian
