Finding the right yorkie takes a lot of time, I know theres people on here who have looked for years before they found a breeder and yorkie perfect for them. I know it's hard to be patient, and the idea of purchasing from a petstore sounds so much easier, but in the long run I think it will be more complicated, if not for getting a sick dog, then for what the puppies parents are going through back at the puppy mill.

Have you tried craigslist, or newspaper ads that have people looking to rehome their yorkie? I personally would never be able to buy from a petstore after knowing what goes on behind closed doors. And petstores will tell you that their dogs come from "breeders"..more like "greeders". Even if it's not by definition a puppymill, the puppy is still coming from people who care all about the dollar, and nothing about the dog.
