 Wow, that is
expensive. At the Humane Society they will microchip your pet for a fee of $10. Then for a lifetime membership in Avid's database that will cover up to 8 pets, (you an add, delete, etc) it is a $40 one time fee. Both my boys and my cat were microchipped total $10 each for $30 and a $40 fee for membership = grand total for three pets = $70. Any of you that are interested should check with your local humane society. Much cheaper and they are great folks there. I had all three of my animals fixed there for less than a thrid of the price at a private vet, no problems, recuperation was a breeze. |
