I am having a similar trouble with my little boy, he is 5 months now, he was doing really well going out for all his business (he rings a bell and I let him out) but it was the rain that put him off too. We've had a few storms here and he really doesn't like getting his feet wet! Now he has just gone back to peeing in the house (not on me so I don't think it's marking, just by the door or in the corner of the room)
I have tried a rattle bottle and squirting him with a water pistol when I catch him at it but neither seems to bother him enough to stop peeing, I have also tried giving him some 'time out' when I see him doing it (no point if I find the accident later as he wouldn't associate it) he looks forlorn but I don't know if he is connecting that with the peeing in the house
The only advice I have been given is to go back to square one, taking him out every hour and waiting for him to go, it just seems a real shame because he obviously knows how to do it and just refuses or maybe is a bit confused, I'm also trying to make outside a bit more appealing to him by throwing out treats for him to hoover up.
If anyone has any more suggestions I'd love to hear them.
Thanks,
Lisa and Rufus
