Okay so I'm fuming. I usually try not to let this bother me, but sometimes.. it just really really really
REALLY irks me. One of my roommates is "not a dog person". His family had a dog growing up but she was left outside for a majority of the time and was never given any attention. They potty trained her by rubbing her nose in her accidents. They "thought she had cancer" and never took her to a vet or anything! She died recently of natural/unknown causes.
ANYWAY. He just does not understand dogs. I wonder if maybe mine are just super spoiled but I tend to think not. He always eats in our living room, leaving food sitting next to him on the couch and then gets mad when the dogs try to get it. I'm sorry but DUH! If you leave candy sitting in front of a child, they are obviously going to try and get it. I don't think any amount of training can really help with that.
Also, I came home today and Maggie was running around while Franklin was stuck in his playpen. I asked him why and he said because Franklin pooped on the floor.

I just ignored him and let Franklin out.
He has never had a puppy and does not realize that dogs do NOT understand us when we talk to them. He always screams commands at the dogs and gets annoyed when they don't listen. He constantly talks about much he loves Maggie because she's so well behaved and he thinks Franklin is annoying but really he's just being a puppy. He also comments all the time about how spoiled my dogs are.
I'm sorry.. I just get so frustrated.

I really would move out and away from him but we can't afford to move out on our own.
