It's not just you. I feel the same. I hate to see these dogs mixed and then called designer dogs and priced ridiculously. There are so many mixed breeds in shelters and rescues. Like you when I was growing up they were refered to as mutts. As an adult I prefer to call them mixed up pups but never the less I hate to see them advertised as designer. For God sake if you want a mix look to your local shelter or rescue. I'm sure there are mixes there that are even cuter then some of these "Designer dogs." or atleast wait and find one that someone got tired of or didn't like how it looked as it matured and adopt that one.
