Don't be too upset. Your breeder probably just did not realize 5 weeks was too young for Yorkie pups. This is where breeder education is very important. Hopefully you can educate her about the dangers of selling the puppies too young. As for the vaccinations, new research is showing that it is best to put off the first vaccination until the pups are 8 weeks or older. I personally do not give the first vaccination until the pups are 10 weeks old and I am starting to lean toward 12 weeks for the 1st shot. Too many people are over vaccinating their dogs and it is causing a lot of health problems in dogs and the dogs owners are not making the connection to the vaccinations.
