[Mom to Hot Rod]

Has anyone use Pinnacle canned foods? If so, what do you think of it? I was at a small pet store and a sales clerk told me that it was a good food and it was what he feed his dog. Hot Rod is SUCH a picky eater and has been even more so lately. He will eat something for a couple of days and then thumb his nose at it.

He was doing so well for about 2 weeks and he actually put on some weight but then (?) he got picky again. That was with wellness fish.

Last weekend on the boat I wound up giving him nutrical 2x because he just wouldn't eat! Granted it could have been all the people and being on the boat but when I fed him, we were inside and he just did not want to eat the food that he was just eating the prior couple of days.

I have tried cans of wellness, innova, nutro and canidae. I mainly feed him innova dry-which I don't think he really cares for now which he did like before. I am just about ready to give in and home cook. I don't know what else to do!

I try to give him 2 teaspoons of lowfat vanilla yogurt everyday. I just started giving him cottage cheese w/ fruit in the mornings since he would not eat his normal food.
