When you think about it, that's still small.
Lucy is 2 and weighs 11 lbs. She was chunky though, and her vet put her on a diet, so she's down from 13 lbs.
When we went to PetSmart last weekend, I realized just how small that is.
Your little Carter may be above standard, but but being a little larger, you won't worry about him as much. Rebel weighs a little over 5 lbs and I worry about him constantly - he seems so delicate next to Lucy.
