Hi. I was entered at this show and witnessed this DQ!!!! The dog was DQ'd because of "not breaking blue". Same with the puppy bitch!! The gal showing the puppy bitch is a newbie. I felt sorry for her.
The dog that was DQ'd was bred by a lady that has been showing and breeding for years. Sandy's dogs are beautiful!!! I was standing right by the table where the ring steward was and I wished you could've seen her face when this happened!!! She looked shocked and rolled her eyes. I got second place with my bitch that day. I personally have never had a problem with Filburn. He finished my male years ago and gave my male a point last year at Burlington, IA.
They protested to the AKC Rep. after judging and Filburn stated - "No Discussion!"
I will think twice before entering under him again. One of the gals said he has made the comment that he does not wish to judge yorkies anymore! |
