I'm going to make this as short as I can.
I co worker who is the super star of sales at work is cheating. Not only me, but other co workers had suspected that for a while, but didn't really had evidence. In the last weeks there were 2 incidents where 2 different customers come for service issues and they are not only unhappy, but want to end the relationship with the company because they were mislead and were told something completely different.
Co worker is best friends with the boss b/c she kisses her rear. Boss is very moody and you never know what day she is going to be in a good mood, therefore if she is having a bad day, she'll make yours worse, but loves the co worker to kiss her a$$. Needles to say you can't tell the boss that co worker is cheating because she is not going to do anything about it ( it has happen before).
It's been a rough week and I just found out that I'm working 6 days next week. Yes, boss was having a bad day today. I'm not a lsave and don't want to sound snooty, but I work b/c the xtra money never hurts, but that doesn't mean that I'm going to put up with their $hit. (I'm not the only who feels that way), anyways, I work hard because I want to be successful at what I do. I don't think is fair that me and other people at work have to follow procedures and this other chick comes ans cheats so she can get ahead "at work", because she wants a management position where she can work "business hours" M-F 8-5.
Well, today I had enough of that and I called a line were you can reported people who are violating work ethics like her !!!
I can't believe I did it. Now I feel bad. No, we are not good friends but I wouldn't like anyone to do the same to me even thought I don't cheat or do anything that can jeopardize my job so I don't have to worry about anything like that, but i still feel bad because an investigation is going to be open and probably my boss is going to get involve and I don't know if they can fire her.
Has someome been in my position before? I hate what I just did, but it had to be done, other wise she is going to keep doing what she is doing okeyd by the boss.
Did I do the right thing?
I'm not a bad person and I know that life is not always fair, but I just had enough of her crap!
