You know..I don't think that Jin is dead..the part of the boat he was on wasn't where the explosion happened. He could have just been thrown off and picked up by Faraday's boat..I think he's back on the island and maybe locke talked to Sun like he did the other survivors. Maybe that's why she wants to join forces with Widmore..to find the island and find jin...
