I bought a couple of plastic bowls tonight. At home I use ceramic bowls, but I need plastic ones for traveling. I noticed when I got home that are made of melamine. I believe that is what caused all the pet food recalls. I did some research and it's commonly used to make housewares, so I don't think they would use it if it wasn't safe for pets. I'm confused.

Can I still use them or should I return them?
