not freeze as in cold, but freeze up, like it ran too long. You might just need to clean it out, sometimes the blade thingys (yes, I am an expert
) get dirty and blocked. Ours seemed to be slowing up as it ran the other day, so we took the water hose sprayer and spayed it out really good, helped tons. Good luck, hope it's not broken, it is very hot right now!!
