Hi all. We have a nine year old and we just got a 6 1/2 week old puppy. The puppy is wild, biting everyone, running around, and then collapses and goes to sleep. Well...I forgot that's what they all do when they are puppies. My 9 yr old is very well mannered, kind and considerate, etc. Well, nine years ago, I guess she was as wild as our new puppy. I called my daughter today and asked her how our girls were when they were puppies, and she reminded me that they were just as wild and crazy as our new one. I put her on speaker so my husband could hear.....we couldn't believe it. She said it's the same with kids, you forget all the wild and bratty stuff they did. So...now I feel lots better and will have more patience and understanding when she bites me...hehe....I will get lots more chew toys...she has about 20 scattered around the house, but I will get more so they are always in reach. I WILL remember that they will grow out of this....it's just a stage and they are teething to boot. Just thought I'd share this with you.
