That's funny. My pup does the same thing. My mom has carpeted stairs in her house and he goes up and down those with no problem. I however live in a studio above the garage so the outdoor steps are something different...he will race up them but when it comes to going down them that's another story. We are slowly increasing the number of stairs he goes down each week...I will carry him part of the way down and then set him down on a step and he will pop on down them....but he too, doesn't like the idea of the top step. I believe we are up to 8 or 9 steps now. He's doing great!!!
