This is not the first time he has DQ a yorkie. He has been noted to DQ a puppy and a 12 month old for being too dark: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ust-fyi-5.html
My guess is that he thought they were too dark. I did not show under him when he came to Atlanta, because of this. This is the only power we have is not to show under judges we do not agree with. Or when your club is deciding on judges - not to choose the ones we prefer not to. I had also heard he is not taking any new appointments for judging yorkies. I guess this is one he had already accepted earlier. I did go and see him judge in Atlanta and he did not DQ any yorkies that day - Feb. 2, 08 and there was a darker colored yorkie in the ring that day.
