We are picking up our yorkie puppy on Thursday from the breeder. We have 5 cockatiels at home. They are used to being out of the cage most of the time and on our shoulders when we are home. I don't want that to change for them, but I do want them to be safe. Does anyone else have cockatiels along with their yorkie? Can you share how it has gone? Any advice on introducing them and teaching the puppy that the birds are off limits?
