ALWAYS report anything unusual to the doctor while taking meds......you can call the phone number and the answering service will call the doctor on call for you.......it is not unusual to have a reaction to antibiotics......and you had one...had you continued, it could have been even more serious.....

I am very allergic to Cipro....had taken it over the yrs till until about 4 years ago I blew up like a balloon after just 2 doses......went to ER and after 4 shots of steroids I fillally was improving....ALL THIS AFTER NO REACTION EVER BEFORE. You can develop an allergy at ANY TIME! Remember that!


Glad to hear you are better, but always let docs and nurses know that you had this reaction....so you will not be given this med or derivitives of this med ever again.



After 18 years of selling pharmaceuticals, I am a big advocate of knowing all you can before you take any meds, and then reacting quickly if something weird occurs.....
