I don't use the bell system but I have 4 dogs. If they need to go out, they sit by the door and stare at me. I usually let all of them out even though only one of them may have asked to go outside. The reason is, I want them to potty outside. Asking me to go outside is less important to me than for them to understand outside is the place to potty.
By the way, I've only taught 1 dog to sit by the door when she want to go outside. The others learned from watching her. |
