I am very curious about this now as it would help a lot of potential buyers stear clear of one they didn't want to have carry that and could also help breedes that don't want to have this in their lines be able to spay or neuter these pups.

Also in the thread I read where if you turn the dog over it will have a spotted stomach could someone please explain this a little better.
Is this found on ALL Carriers or is this random?

Also this ticking on the belly does anyone have a pic that they could post?

Thanks this has me very curious now
I don't think that all white markings indicate that a dog is a parti carrier but if a line consistently throws a nice blaze on the chest and white toes, I'd be a bit suspicious.

I had a traditional yorkie when bred to another traditional, never produced more than 6 white hairs on any of her pups (2 litters totaling 9 pups). When I bred her to a full parti (thus making all the pups carriers), her pups still had a minimal amount of white. One had a small white spot on her chest maybe 1/4" and a little white on one foot and the other had 2 white spots about the same size, a little white on her throat and 2 white toe tips.

When I bred a parti carrier to a parti, her carrier pup had a nice blaze on his chest, throat and 2 rear feet.

So if you're seeing chest blazes and white feet on your traditional pups, I'd really be wondering if the were carriers????

I'll have to go check my carriers bellies ... I had checked their mouths before, one was spotted and the other 2 were just a pinkish grey.
