Whatever you do, do not put flea medicine on her even if it says it's alright. it caused my girl to have a deformed, dead puppy. I almost always use dawn original dishwashing liquid. it doesn't keep fleas off but kills whats on her already and they can be combed out. i always groom my girls right up till the last bath right before whelping. usually three days before whelping. You also need to trim the hair on her sides and especially on her belly around her teats. many a puppy has gotten tangled and smothered in this hair. i give my girls one fourth can of Cesears three times a day before whelping. they love it. Forgot to say, you might not feel them move for another few days. I just felt mine today and they are due June 6th.
