We finally got my puppy in to see the vet and they told my husband that she would have to have surgery. She has a very bad luxating patella. The vet said that it moves around a lot. They said that it is so bad that she will have to get the surgery within the next 6-12 months. The vet seemed surprised that she was running and jumping right now. I'm so scared and I hate the thought of my puppy suffering but the idea of surgery on her scares me too. They said the recovery time is two months. Has anyone had any experience with this???
