I wish I had another male to keep him company. He has settled down quite a bit. He is not crying like he was.

I too have a lot of work to do before there is any shennanigans going on. They have an appointment for all their tests and I ordered two DNA kits from AKC. They are both registered.

Next one to come into heat will be the little one and she will not be bred, so I need to get her fixed asap. My vet can't see her til June 21 and she will be six months on June 26, so I may need to find another vet. I also need to get the other two Ortho certified and I am not sure he does that either.

We'll see, it's all a grand adventure with lots of responsibility. They are so precious. It's important to do right by them for sure.
As far as getting another male to keep him company I would not be so rushed to do this for if there is a female in heat then the males can and do fight...Mine did but have settled down now. Galahad is really possive over Teddy still and I have to keep a very close eye on them. I have heard the males can Kill each other altho I've never had that happen yet and hope I never do.

Maybe some more experienced breeders will come and answer your other questions.

Yes they are precious and it is very very good you ask questions and are trying to do the right thing for your babies. Hope everything turns out for you. Just watch them very closely and maybe put them in seperate rooms where you can close the Door...I don't trust crates, playpens or gates to keep mine apart males can be very very determined to get to any female in heat...So I just don't take no chances.

Yes it is a Grand Adventure when males want to make sure the other males knows that all the females are his or so he thinks they are his lol...You talking marking!!! Oh yeah it gets bad...I use belly bands when they go out in our living room and kitchen, they do help.

Oh and if you take them outside to potty...What I do is take my girls out back yard and my boys in the front yard and do this with them when they go outside to play as not to bug our boys anymore then they are already lol. It is hard to do this but it can be done. I just wish my Weezie would come into heat and get it done she is my last gal left to have her heat cycle for a few months. My boys and girls hasn't been together in the same room since Sage 1st went into heat on February 25th. Hope I've helped you in some way. Lee
