Prayers are coming your way from north Georgia that your furbabies eye will get better with the medication. Hopefully, surgery will not be necessary. I don't know anything to tell you about losing eyes. My 2 year old yorkie has dry eye and may become blind down the road. We put drops in 3 x a day as well as artificial tears. I am trying very hard to save her vision. Good luck with your baby. I can understand why you are so upset. We will keep both of you in our thoughts and prayers.
