Can you call you doctor? YOU should have a doctor on call tonight and report your symptoms. Your other option if you cant get your MD tonight would be just to skip the next dose tonight and call them in the morning.
Each antiobiotic is prescribed a certain number of day. Each drug has been tested against different bacteria that causes different types of infections.
Just because the symptoms are going away doesnt mean ALL the bacteria
have been killed. So next time you try to use this drug, it may not work on you. YOU will have give the bacteria just enough of the drug to make it sick but not kill them all. So, the bacteria will get stronger and build a resitance to that type of drug.
We as a community ( the world) have saved antibiotics for a raining day once they THINK the infection is gone. So we have created all these Super Bugs that are resistance to drugs.
How was the med prescribed and how many doses are left?
I know that feeling though. I have had it too. where you feel like you need to cough. Its freaky!
