We got our new FidoRido Car seat today and I LOVE IT. We previously had the oversized snoozer but it was so big the kids did not have room in the back seat. This one is not as cute, but I do think it is super safe. The carseat threads through the base like an infant seat so you know it will not break free. There are straps that hook on to each side that hook onto the sides of the harness. It takes a special harness that comes with it and the way it is set up there is no way that in an accident the harness could slip and put any pressure on your dogs neck, plus with being secured on each side it would hold them pretty steady. (If your dog outgrows the harness in the first few months they will replace it for free.) It is large enough to comfortably hold two six pound dogs and Buddy loved it just as much as I did!!!
