Thank you for your advice and encouragement. All the dogs I've had for the last 30 years have been medium to large and I've NEVER had one this small. So I'm not really sure where the line is between ridiculous spoiling and just fun for both of us spoiling. I figure she'll probably take herself seriously as a dog who wants to do dog things, but to me she'll probably always look and seem like a funny little baby. But I don't want to hurt her little doggy dignity (when she gets old enough to have some).
