I know how you feel. I have Aiden in his pen during the day. He has the crate thing down to a science. He goes on the pee pad never the blanket. But ouside the crate ,he poops by the door,mostly in corners,or in places where little floor shows. I put pee pads all over and he'll pee on them, only once, but then pee everywhere else.My brothers Yorkie is doing the same thing. Totally crate trained,but nowhere else. Aiden is 3 mo old,but Lexie is 14 mo old. I use spot cleaners, but I'm a freak about my house smelling bad,I have 3 cats and 2 dogs, and you'd never know it. I vacumm everyday, and now I've been shampooing alot more often. I try to keep an eye on him when I'm home, it's just my teen aren't that good,or patient with leaving hi out long enough for him to find the right spot to go. LOL Hanging in!!!!

Sounds like you need a belly band.
