Hello,

I've had my Yorkie for five days now, and for the first two days she was having healthy bowel movements. On the third day she had diarrhea; since then, she's been straining unproductively. I've read in many places that canned pumpkin can help alleviate constipation, but in an emergency thread on this site, gylcerine is recommended. Can anyone tell me if canned pumpkin is okay for a 9-week-old puppy, or if I should find glycerine somewhere instead?
