Sounds like he's regurgitating (which is NOT the same as vomiting) and it could simply be because he's eating and drinking too quickly — both my two have done that from time to time. Maybe just keep an eye on it, but I don't imagine it's anything to worry about. You could do a search on google for ideas to help your dog eat slower. I've heard about placing rocks in their food bowl so they have to navigate around them to get the food - slows them down a bit, but obviously the rocks have to be big enough that they cant be confused for food and accidentally swallowed.

I'm sure someone else will have some great ideas too!
