Yeah -- I know how you feel. I have had my fingers down Archie's throat, I have pulled poop from the hair on his butt, I have even let him throw up in my HAND to keep him from throwing up on himself, all the while driving my car with the other hand. But I can not -- WILL NOT -- stick my finger "up there!" Luckily, he has not had anal gland problems, but if he did, he'd be off to the vet in a flash!
