 In love with my Morkie!
It took some time but I finally found the pup I had been dreaming of in August 2005.
I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to this thread to help me in my search.
Her name is Poppy and she is perfect!! She comes from an AKC registered Maltese mom and and an AKC registered Yorkie dad and the best of both: 7 lbs of pure energy with the cutest little doll face, and 100% hearty and healthy. She loves to fetch like the big dogs at the park and can jump up into my arms afterward. But she's also a super soft cuddle muffin. The other day I overheard an older gentleman say to his wife that when he was a kid he carried around a teddy bear that had the exact same face as Poppy!!
Needless to say I'm smitten. I definitely recommend this mix to anyone, but the only way to reliably know what you're getting is if both parents are purebreds.
