I don't think you're being a worry wart. Anytime you introduce tubes in the throat (trachea) and are invading the airway, there is reason for concern and aftercare. So, if there is a chance of fluid on the lungs - I'd call the vet right away. It could be nothing, but bc she recently was intubated, there is a chance it could be something - so you'd want to look into this.
