I for one would get a second opinion.. I think some vets jump the gun sometimes. And if there was something on the film it could have shown up that there was arthritis but he is so young to have this. You said he is only 17 months old. Boy that seems mighty young to have arthritis.. Please keep us posted on how he is doing..
