I don't use scissors at all (they will never be that still for me). I use a little personal shaver, battery operated is much easier. I shave from about 1/2 way up, try not to cut the hair below the line and it will eventually fall down pretty. I also shave the chests of the ones who get dirty on their bellies and around their butthole (sorry). Be careful not to nick them. The personal shavers have tinier blades and will not catch their ears. I shave one, Bronx, whole body and leave his head and legs long. He is very wild, messy and hates to be brushed. I use the larger shaver to shave his body area. Look for quiet ones if possible. Having them groomed is $22 each-here. So I feel like I can spend a little money on supplies not to pay that fee, now x 7!
