If my son had devastated the life of another human being (still in the hospital in a vegetative state), I don't think I could be saying bad things against the family that had just suffered such a devastating tragedy. ESPECIALLY if my son had been the driver. I would be talking to my son about what happened and and expecting some remorse. I haven't seen any evidence of that at all. Just bashing the victim and his family. If the victim was such a bad person, what was Nick Hogan doing out with him anyway? I think they need a very large dose of humility and humbleness.

They should be extremely thankful that it isn't their son lying in that hospital bed. All the recordings I have heard (as posted in the links above) are shameful. And...they are discussing ways to make it a monetarily lucrative event. I am ashamed of them.
