I certainly don't think medication is the answer. Training is. A well trained dog gains confidance and won't be quite a shy. But you need to use positive reinforcement. Just a suggestion. You used an example of letting them out to gp potty and he wouldn't come back in. How about using a leash when you take him out then that wouldn't be a problem. |
