One of my best friends had a beautiful little baby in January, and she's getting him baptized next month. She called me last week to invite me to the baptism, and ask if my fiance and I will be Godparents!! I'm so excited, I had to hold back the tears. She said she trusts us and knows that if anything were to happen, Anthony (her son) would be taken care of with us, she had a whole speech. That made me even more happy, because it wasn't just "oh your my friend be a Godparent"!
I haven't been to a baptism since I was younger, so I know I have to get a card and a gift, but does anyone have any ideas on something special I can get him? I want to get him something creative and special just for this occasion, but my mind is blank with ideas
I also was going to get my friend a Thank You card for asking us, but would a small gift for her be appropriate as well?
