I don't think their paws are as sensitive as the bottom of our feet, but I could be wrong. If it's too hot for her, she might just walk on the grass. When Bella first started going for walks she wouldn't walk on the cement, only on the grass, and there are sometimes we walk on a gravel path and she doesn't like that either so she goes on the grass instead.
