I have both a Biewer, and a yorkie. There are so many similarities. A Biewer is definetly a yorkshire Terrier. There is a genetic difference causing the color difference. They do not shed, although I think most I have seen have a more dense coat than the original yorkie.They are just as affecionate and playful as their brothers. I love my Biewer, and yes he was more expensive; but I love my yorkie too, and I could not put a price on either.
