We got back this afternoon from spending the weekend in Minneapolis. My older daughter (age 30) got married on Saturday. She and her husband planned the whole thing, and it was beautiful. They were married in Fort Snelling State Park overlooking the Mississippi River. The setting was amazing, and the day was perfect. Julie was a beautiful bride, and my new son in-law is wonderful. It was a fantastic weekend, and I am exhausted in a good way. Tomorrow they are off to the Bahamas for 10 days, and on June 14th we will host a reception for them here in Nebraska for friends and family who were not at the wedding. I am so happy!
