It sounds like you may be suggesting that anyone whose dog smells like Fritos needs to see an allergist and is unhealthy. While it is possible for an ingredient in the diet to cause a certain smell, you must remember that not all dogs suffer from allergies. If this is the only "symptom" a dog shows, I certainly wouldn't worry about it, especially since it's highly preferable to the "wet dog" smell.
