Excellent advice. I would add putting her on a table a few times per day to help her get used to it, and take her places with lot's of activity. The best way to learn about showing is at the show. Find a club in your area that offers a show class and attend, but also attend a few shows and see how it works. My first experience at the show was eye opening. Sonja and Riesha let me sit and watch as they prepared for the competition and gave me a wealth of great advice. They completely changed my opinion of "show people." Later, when I entered my first show, one of the ladies I was up against helped me fix my topknot right before I went into the ring. I only have one show per year close to me so I have to travel to show and that is the biggest cost for me. I'm still learning but having a great time.
