So glad she is doing better. I know emergency vet visits in the middle of night can be scary.

I have dealt with ulcers 2 times in my other dogs. One of them was a tiny chi who had eye ulcers so bad they looked like cataracts. They were blue and nasty looking and kept looking worse. The first vet gave me meds and I used them faithfully but nothing changed. I then was at one of those inexpensive shot clinics with my barn cats and told the vet there about the little dog and he was nice enough to give me some ointment for $7 and told me it couldn't hurt but might help. If you can believe it... withing 2 days this little pup who expensive vets had doomed to blindness without surgery, was totally normal again with clear eyes and no more pain. He now is a happy healthy spoiled pup
